All You Need Is Love...kidding...you need a passport

I don't know about you, but I have always wanted to travel. I don't mean domestically travel either. I mean travel travel!

I had been putting off getting a passport for years. I kept telling myself, it's not that serious and I will get around to it, or it really doesn't matter because I'm on a budget and cannot really afford to travel, or I don't have anyone to travel with so what's the point.

So instead of getting my passport, I watched as all of my family and friends went on family trips and baecations to all sorts of exotic places without me...heavy sigh.

It wasn't until I finally had a sort of "awakening" in all areas of my life and started to learn to put myself first and that tomorrow is not promised to anyone that I decided to apply for my passport. So glad that I did!

I did some research and found that it was a really simple and easy process, so I went for it.

Life goes by so fast and we really need to take the initiative to do all of the things that we want to do in life to make life happen instead of sitting back and letting life happen to us.

We all need to take the opportunity to break away from our normal routines and explore other places, people and cultures.

I have a friend who has always traveled the world. I have always admired her because she was never afraid to travel. If her friends couldn't go out of the country, then she went alone. If she was not in a relationship and wanted to travel, that's what she did. She was and is fabulous and fearless...love it!

I used think omg I could never just up and travel alone...lies! I'm gon travel with or without my boo/bae every chance I get.

You will miss out on life waiting for other people...for real. I learned this lesson late in life, but I have learned the lesson now and it's on.

Traveling is the one thing (besides creating this blog) that I have always wanted to do but kept putting off. I am so over that now!!
